Appointment Scheduling Policy

All sessions at Family Chiropractic are scheduled by appointment only. These appointments can be reserved in person, by email, by phone, or online. A valid credit card is required to be saved to our secure, online booking system. If you do not have a valid credit card, please call and speak to reception directly to schedule your appointment at (604) 594-7774.

Late Arrival Policy

When a patient arrives late for their scheduled appointment, our practitioners will provide treatment for the remaining session time only, with no fee reduction. We do our best to always be ready for you when you arrive and ask that you offer the same courtesy to our therapists. Due to tightly booked schedules, extending appointments beyond their originally specified time is not feasible. When it doubt, please arrive early for your appointment.

Cancellation & Missed Appointment Policy

This policy is simple. We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Patients who provide less than 24 hours’ notice to cancel/change their appointment, or miss their appointment completely, may be charged up to the full cost of the booked session. All patients are required to have a valid credit card on file on our secure online booking system. Any outstanding fees will be applied to your account and charged to the credit card on file. A receipt will be issued when the cancellation fee is paid, however, this fee is not reimbursable through extended health benefits or other third-party insurers.

Your appointment time is reserved for you. Please understand that our professionals are only paid when they deliver treatment. Consequently, missed appointments are costly and prevent us from providing treatment to other patients in need of care.

If you are unable to keep your appointment, for any reason, please notify us by phone/voice mail or e-mail as soon as possible. If we do not hear from you, this policy will be applied.

Cancellation Charges

  • 1st late cancellation – $25 fee
  • 2nd late cancellation/1st no-show appointment – $50 fee
  • Any late cancellations/no show’s after this period will be charged at the full cost of the visit.

Payment for all treatments, whether private or insured, is ultimately the responsibility of the patient.
